The Executive Committee of the Republican Party of Lackawanna County will meet:
Monday, 7 August 2017, 6:30 p.m.
Republican HQ, 400 Spruce Street, Suite 100, Scranton, PA 18503
The purpose of the meeting will be to interview candidates that present themselves to fill vacant Republican nominations to include but not be limited to a four-year Scranton City Council seat, due to the death of Rich Johnson; a four-year Scranton School Board seat, because former school Director Chris Phillips withdrew; a two-year Carbondale Area School Board Region 1 seat, because Nancy Mark resigned in March( Region 1 includes Carbondale’s 6th Ward and Fell Twp.); a two-year Throop council seat, because Thomas Lukasewicz resigned in January; a four-year La Plume Twp. supervisor seat, because Paul Mahon died in March; and two-year auditor seats in Fell and Glenburn townships. We will also conduct any other business which may come before the Committee including, but not limited to filling said vacancies.
If any recognized Committee wishes to make a recommendation, they should do so prior to the meeting.

Correspondence should include a letter expressing their desire to seek the nomination as well as any other background information they wish to share.
